What is Scrip?

Scrip is a fundraising system. Hundreds of companies offer gift cards to our organization at a discounted
rate. For example, you may regularly shop at Family Fare. Family Fare offers a $25 gift
card to non-profit organizations at a 2% discount. You purchase the card through scrip for $25 and
our organization gets .50. We return 90% of the .50 to your account to help cover meet fees. 10%
goes to the team to cover the costs of shipping.

It’s easy money because you only spend money you were already going to spend. You get almost all
of the discount back to help cover RAYS fees. You also participate in an easy fundraiser which helps
to keep your registration costs down.

Here’s how to get started:

Step 1: surf to www.shopwithscrip.com

Step 2: Look for the “Family Sign Up” and click on “create account”

Step 3: You will be directed to an enrollment page where you will need to enter some information
and then accept the terms

Step 4: After accepting the terms, you will come to a page which asks for your enrollment code. The
RAYS code is: 82C7548D3182

Step 5: You will receive a message that you are associated with the RAYS organization

Step 6: Next click on “my account”

Step 7: At the top you will see a message about presto pay. Click to sign up.  We do not process cash orders, nor do we keep scrip on hand to sell so this is the ONLY way to order scrip.

Step 8: Fill in the appropriate account information

Step 9: Follow the instructions for confirming the Presto Pay has been correctly set up

Step 10: Wait for notification that your account has been set up with Presto pay

Step 11: Shop til you drop
